A tribute to resilience, healing, and the undeniable strength within Black women. This piece reimagines scars not as imperfections, but as golden seams -- proof of survival, transformation, and beauty born from pain.


Inspired by the legacy of misrepresentation and systemic bias against dark skin, this artwork challenges those narratives by celebrating melanin-rich skin as divine and sculptural. Each crack is highlighted in gold, echoing the Japanese art of Kintsugi -- where broken pottery is mended with precious metals, becoming more beautiful for having been broken.


This painting is a visual reminder that our scars, both visible and invisible, shape who we are. For every Black woman who has been told she is “too much” or “not enough”. You are art. You are strength. You are worthy.

A great all-round paper, chosen for its photographic aesthetics, vibrant colour reproduction, high contrast and robust feel. Its semi gloss, flat surface lends the artwork a photographic feel, combined with the subtle painterly feel of a Giclée fine art print. The surface is resin coated making it our strongest paper.

Production: Give us a few business days to work our magic before your order ships.

Shipping: We use express couriers for international orders (USA/Canada included). Rates are calculated at checkout.

Note: Framed prints may arrive in separate packages.

Customs: International customers are responsible for any local import duties or taxes.
Return policy

Because every piece is custom-printed just for you, we can’t offer traditional returns. However, we'll always make things right if there's a slip-up.

Damage/Defects: If it arrives busted, email us photos within 48 hours. We’ll send a replacement for free.

Shipping Issues: If your order gets lost in the void, we’ll work with our printer to get a replacement or refund sorted.

Change of Mind: Since these are made-to-order, we generally can't offer refunds for "oops" buys or changes of heart once the ink hits the paper.
